Hi there! I am Lisa Larsen, an art director and graphic designer that works in both print and digital platforms. I graduated in 2007 from Tyler School of Art, Temple University, with a BFA in Graphic and Interactive Design (and a minor in Art History because I am a smarty-pants).

 

After graduation I climbed the ropes of the advertising industry as an art director at Saatchi Health while moonlighting as a freelancer in my "free time". After 5 years of office dwelling I decided to take a chance and be my own boss. I have been a full-time freelancer ever since and love the flexibility, freedom and diversity of projects this path has afforded me. 

 

Now I live AND work in Jersey City, a hop, skip and a jump (or PATH ride) from NYC with my husband and delightful monster dog. Who, without fail, will find something to bark at when I am on a conference call (say hi Sweet Pea). 

 

With my work, I live by the belief that "Concept is King", great ideas make great design. I design with purpose and ensure that all aspects, from structure to finish, have a reason to be.

 

I love what I do because each project is a new opportunity. As a designer, there is always something new to discover or understand more deeply. I enjoy the process and the spirit of collaboration. And, I take the needs of the client seriously. I believe that no matter how good the design looks, if it doesn't fulfill its purpose, then it doesn't work.
